Zorees now lets you chat with strangers by country and age band before you start matching. Pick your own country and age range, choose the country and age range you'd prefer to talk to, and tap Start. If a stranger matches your preferences, we'll pair you with them. If not, we instantly fall back to the next available stranger so you never wait.

How the country and age filters work

On the Zorees home page, above the Start buttons, you'll see two sets of filters:

My country & age band — tells other users who you are.
I want to talk to — sets your preference for the stranger's country and age band.

Choose from 40+ countries (United States, India, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, and more) and four age bands: 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, and 45+. Select "Any" for either field if you don't have a preference.

The filter is a preference, not a guarantee: if nobody from that country is online right now, you'll still be paired with the next available stranger instantly.

Chat with strangers by age

Age band filtering lets you choose which age group you'd rather talk to. Pick 18-24 for younger conversations, 25-34 or 35-44 for peer-aged chat, or 45+ for more mature conversations. Like the country filter, the age filter is a preference: if someone in your preferred age band is waiting, we'll match you. Otherwise, you skip the wait and pair with the next stranger.

Why filters on Zorees are preferences, not locks

We don't make you wait. Most random chat sites with filters keep you in queue until a match appears. On Zorees, if your preferred country or age band isn't available, we immediately pair you with any waiting stranger in the same mode. This keeps matching fast while still giving you a better shot at a relevant conversation.

Do filters affect privacy?

No. Your country and age band are only used for matching. We don't store your exact age, location, or any personally identifying information. The filters are anonymous and session-based, and you can reset them at any time from the home page.
